The ŠKODA KODIAQ has achieved the maximum rating for safety. The Euro NCAP has awarded the ŠKODA KODIAQ the highest possible rating of five stars, thereby certifying that the car offers optimum protection for all those on board.

Euro NCAP awarded an excellent rating of 92 percent for occupant protection of adult passengers and maximum points for the protection to pedestrians’ legs that the bumper offers.

Euro NCAP particularly mentioned the good operation of the standard emergency brake system, which works well at low speeds – as is typical when driving in the city – and also prevents almost all collisions at motorway speeds.

Up to nine airbags, delivering finely-tuned interaction with three-point automatic seat belts and safety head restraints, protect the driver and passengers from injury.

Driver Alert reduces the risk of a fatigue-induced emergency. By monitoring driver behaviour, the system assesses the degree of driver fatigue and, if necessary, warns of the need for a rest and break in the journey.
